Collection consists of manuscript lecture notes from Browne's time at Massachusetts Medical College of Harvard University (later Harvard Medical School). In these notebooks Browne records lectures by Walter Channing, John Ware, and Jacob Bigelow. Collection also includes Browne's pharmaceutical receipt books, 1848-1852.
